Seattle Public School Youth Art Collective Developed youth leadership programming focused on bringing youth voice into school arts curriculum, building leadership skills, working collaboratively, and learning more about career pathways for young artists.
Our Children’s Place Cooperative Learning Center Developed community-centered, play-based, and learner-directed programming for families of children 10 months to 5 years old; including developing nature-based curriculum. Built collective processes for cooperative and strengthened community involvement for parents.
Henry Teen Art Collective Developed youth leadership programming focused on building leadership skills, working collaboratively, and learning more about career pathways for young artists. Built community connections with other youth and arts organizations to strengthen program.
California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools President of the board of state-wide community of parents, and educators committed to teaching and inspiring families through parent involvement and mutual support.
Queer Trans Youth Music Project Restructured collective strategies for both accountability to mission for a music camp for queer and trans youth, and sustainability of programming. Built community connections with local educators, youth organizations, and musicians. Developed DEI trainings for staff and volunteers.
Bright Star Schools
Developed the English Language Development program in collaboration with the Inclusive Education Department to support students with communication needs, specifically students new to or developing proficiency in the English language. Developed and facilitated teacher training on creating inclusive learning spaces that include and celebrate neuro/cultural/linguistic diversity of all learners.
